Hello, I am Apoorva!

I am a self-taught painter living in Toronto, Canada. I create drawings inspired by objects in my home, the park I often walk to and scenes from my travels.

I do not aim for realism and interpret scenes intuitively, letting my artistic mind and hand guide me.

My medium of expression is watercolours. Depending on the subject, I use bold marks and colours or intentionally eliminate colour and focus on the texture of things that adorn a place.

Welcome to the first collection of 2023, an ode to Paris's streets. The city with beautiful balconies, gigantic colourful doors, shining hues of red, mosaic-tiled floors and the colourful rattan chairs that I became obsessed with!
