THE ARTIST PROCESS:
I was inspired by this scene in 2022 and decided to paint it in the most colourful way. Each shoe/sandal was painted meticulously to reflect the variety of designs you get in India. Being a woman of colour, I made the choice to showcase a woman vendor.
PREP of PRINT:
The print is packed in Apoorva's home/studio in Canada in a protective envelope/tube meant to keep the print secure and shipped using a trackable ID.
INFORMATION ABOUT QUALITY OF PRINT:

• It is printed with pigment-based archival inks on professional printer to achieve brightest, most vibrant colours.
• The paper stock is bright white watercolour paper - 300 gsm for mimicking artist's work
